The Mobbstar Show Archives - DJ Bugg and DJ Evidence - Old Skool

Mr Bugg was going thru his old files saved on his hard drive and saved on numerous websites and came across a pot of Jungle / Drum N Bass GOLD.

Back in 2006 he and his close friend Evidence us to run and promotional company called Mobbstar Promotions, 2 events were set up and a radio show was secured on nwdnb radio ( www.nwdnb.co.uk ), all with the aim of exposing and pushing up n coming artists and providing a platform for their music to be heard!

The pair developed a big following due to their friendly personalities and blatant love for the music that shone thru in their creative and exciting sets and radio shows ( The Mobbstar Show 6pm - 9pm every other Saturday NWDNB Radio ) as well as the events MIXED ABILITY and FUSION SOUNDZ, both showcasing nothing but local up n coming talent from the northwest, at JOY BAR Withington, Manchester.

Big things were in the pipeline for the pair and their promotions venture, with a Mixtape series just beginning ( The Mobbstar Mixtapes, VOL.1 still available ) and plans to start a label as well as regular gigs in and around greater Manchester, the future looked bright but life had other plans for the pair so they hung up their gloves with no regrets.

2007 saw the end of Mobbstar but the Memories live on!!!

Here are recordings from The Mobbstar Show, with guest djs such as DAWN RAID, DJ ROWNEY, DJ FOO, DAVIEEZ and more. Interviews, production showcases and banter of the madness variety.
